With roots in the Kootenays, James came to Victoria in 1972. A lifelong musician, James’ touring has taken him to 5 continents and across the majority of Canada. Before getting his real estate licence, he toured for 6 1/2 years with the Juno/Grammy nominated Canadian 80’s band “Men Without Hats”. James is an active member of both the theatrical stagehand union -IATSE 168- and the professional musicians’ union -CFM 247-. James is an experienced residential landlord & small business owner. James also owns a small boutique recording studio- JJAK Studio – named for James, Jackson, Austin, and Karen. He is an award-winning agent and the first LOVE in Karen’s life.
